New Year
My first post of the new year is so late. Well things have been going very well for me. I should be getting my final gift and plant order in the mail tomorrow. I think I'm finally satiated with my plant hunting for now. Still many species I want but I don't feel that "gotta have it" urge anymore. I can't wait to get my Truncata F tomorrow which is that awesome green one. Alba. No other pigments in it. Major major milestone happened for us last Wednesday. We at last finished with the storage unit. We have emptied it. No more expensive monthly payment. It was like having three car bills instead of two. The bad news it it's all in the garage so my Jeep is still out in the elements. But now I can slowly go through it and try to get rid of stuff box by box. I'm almost done taking down the Christmas stuff and have some Valentine's out now. Just that it's so hard to even put stuff away as the Christmas boxes (ours that we've always had not the ones we brought back that were my mother's) are blocked now so I can't just put stuff away. So the new years resolution this year is to be rid of all my mother's crap and have a normal house we're not ashamed to have people over at cleaned up by Dec 31st. But emptying the storage was a great thing so we ended that finally Jan 10th. I have to still make my year in review of art but haven't felt like it because it will have a few gaps. There were a few months were I just didn't produce anything. I had put some plants back outside now that the weather was nice again but well it's still winter so that won't last. Tomorrow it all has to come back in because starting Saturday we'll have another string of nights in the low 30s. This year has sucked for cold and seems like we're getting more cold days than we should.

Well this Sunday I hope Mike can let us use his trailer so we can also get rid of all the yard debris we have. The good thing about the cold snap is that it's killed all the weeds. I've never driven a car with something hitched to the back so I'm looking forward to this new experience.

The other thing I'm really looking forward to this year is our 22nd anniversary next month. I bought us tickets to go see the Monster Jam at the stadium. I love monster trucks. Every year there's a monster truck show in Tampa since I was a kid. I've only ever gone to one and that was when Chris and I were first dating. I got us some great seats. I hope it won't be cold that night but I'm so looking forward to it.

That's great you were able to finally get rid of the storage unit. All that business with your mother's estate and stuff has been a massively huge mess, and I'm glad you can finally see the end of it.

I'm tired of the cold. We've had all this cold but no snow so it isn't worth it. They have had snow north of us and south of us. The hoses are frozen at work so I can't go today.

Sorry for the late reply. The good thing is no more expensive monthly payments on that. But I still have so much of her junk. My garage is again full. I can't seem to keep it empty enough to put a working car in it. Hopefully once things warm up I can work in there and start to get rid of stuff.

I'm tired of the cold too. It sucks. Yeah I guess if it's that cold with no snow there's no pay off. Tonight we're getting another night in the 20's.
