It's been so cold the last two days and the whole week will be this way. Nights in the 30s and 40s. My back and joints have been acting up because of it. Poor Chris was sick this weekend too with a cold. I've been taking care of him though and today he was able to go back to work. With the weather being miserable it's a good time to be indoors and sick I guess. Lots of people are sick actually. I brought in all the nepenthes and hoyas. I've bagged up all my amorphs too for the winter as they've entered dormancy now. I try to spray them three times a day. Bullet likes that and jumps on the bars begging to be sprayed. I didn't want to spray her yesterday because it's too cold. But I used warm water in the sprayer and gave her some once things got a bit warmer.
So I finished watching Stranger Things season 2. I liked it. So yes this is a show I recommend as a nice horror series set in the 80s. I'm going to give a few spoilers here so be aware.
I wish season two hadn't focused so much on the dog gorgons. After finding out that that was the second stage of the demigorgon from the beginning it would have been cool to see another one of those at full size. Better yet I wish Dart, the one one of the kids raised had matured. Would have been great to have a powerful friendly monster on their side. And then he dies. That and the ep where Eleven found her sister the criminal were the parts I did not like. I think that ep was so out of sync with the rest of the show and completely pointless. I know it was about Eleven learning to use her powers from her sister but would have been better had she not left town and figured it out on her own. Oh and that new jock guy they added was also completely pointless. In one of the makings of they said they needed a human antagonist. No you didn't. You had tons going on with Eleven and her powers, hiding from evil government agencies, monsters running around, the shadow monster etc, that no you do not need a human antagonist. Pointless character.
