As for the headlights they arrived today in Jacksonville and now have moved again. They are saying Saturday but there's no reason they can't arrive tomorrow. Jacksonville's only 4 hours away. Next they go either to Orlando or Tampa. Even if they arrived tomorrow I won't be here. I swear that these people let stuff sit in an office because they don't want to be ahead of schedule. I wonder if I should have Chris ship the lights to ACtipon's and then I can have them installed up there at some shop. I don't know. I can do with the factory lights though. Just will be missing them by so close. Annoying too that a plant order I put in in Jan shipped now and will be arriving tomorrow. Chris will have to open that for me and put the plants out on the patio for me.
So I've got everything ready. Chris helped me take the back seat out of my car which will save a lot of weight and should help with gas mileage. He guesses it was 40 pounds so yes that will help. I'm not exactly traveling light because I'm bringing the Xbox and the PS4. So it's two small luggages and the big computer bag and my small camera bag. The good thing Chris mentioned this isn't a ship or a plane where I have to keep everything small or remember everything. There will be plenty of pharmacies and places to stop if I need supplies in both countries. So yes that makes things loads easier than a cruise or a flight. Of course I still have my check list I've gone through over and over. I'm going to try using contact the whole time on this. It will be nice to be able to see well most of the trip. I've got all my legal stuff for crossing the board if they ask for it. I will have access to internet a lot of the time so I will post or try to post here daily. I should be able to reply probably the following day. I think New York will be the most boring part of this. Ugly little town I'll be stopping at. Nothing there and I'll probably just hang out in the hotel the entire time and won't go out other than to eat. It's just a stop over for the night. So yes I'm excited and a bit nervous. Glad I'm not so scared or freaked out as I was earlier. I'm very much looking forward to visiting my aunt on her lovely mountain and her log house. And the gopro works for driving. I love it but hate the mic as you saw in that video. I have to find some other way to record audio separately until I can guy an adapter for a mic. So I'm off now. I'm leaving tomorrow either at 5:30 or 6 in the morning.
