Late Happy Easter
Happy Easter. I didn't do too much yesterday. The day before yesterday was our fun day. But Chris needed a day to do nothing so that was good. I mostly worked on my art and made this new one.

Fear hates liars. It's very hard to lie to him with his powers. People that lie have fear; the fear of being found out. So Fear can see that right away and I think it's basically impossible to lie to him. I wanted to show his electricity coming out as he's angered by some victim trying to trick him.

Here are the new N. truncata plants I got the other day. I love these. So cute and I hope now that I have five that I will have at least one pair. Oh the plant in the background is that Passiflora sunburst I thought had died. The caterpillars destroyed it. But then I saw a piece of green coming out. I have fertilized it and have it under the grow lamps to recover. My motto with plants is if there's green there's hope. I looks terrible but I think it will come back. I will have to spray that one for bugs if I put it back outside in time.

Fear with some of my cute Easter decorations this year.

I love my window sill. Chris bought me these lovely tulips. We went back yesterday for more and ALL GONE! I was disappointed. I can't believe they sold or they got rid of them the day before Easter. They were cheap too. I really wanted a few more and some hyacinths.

My nepenthes truncata with the current best pitchers. It's not my biggest truncata but the big ones got pecked by the chickens and are recovering.

That's all for now. I'll post more pics soon.

And a Happy Easter to you, too! Love your happy decorations. Even Fear has a bit of a smile!

Love the Fear one. I think, putting his hand in the foreground, 'in my face' so to speak, one digit forward and his talons like that, is enough to instill fear into anyone!

I love you new plants. I hope they grow well for you. And yes, where there is life, there is hope. I had a plant all winter on my pergola table with just one spike of green. I didn't give up on it, and that spike opened out in the spring to a leaf, And now it has quite a few leaves :) But I knew that plant was tough.

Aaaw...that was nice Chris got you some tulips. So special! I hope you can save the bulbs and grow more next year.

Love the pitchers on your truncata. Ah, so your chooks peck things, too, do they? Naughty chooks :)

Belated happy Easter. I'm glad you had a fun day with Chris - we went out of town for the weekend and it was awesome.

Yup, where there's green, there's hope. I thought I had killed a cactus by overwatering it because it looked like it shrunk. Thankfully Google had the right advice - as long as it was green it was still ok.
