Annoying dream, drawings
Got up not too long ago and want to log this dream. Clearly I dreamt this because of the stupid character theft Gamma experienced. I dreamt the creators of Transformers stole Sorath. They modified him and were using him in a cartoon. He was much skinner and dark blue. I can't stand dark blue it's a boring bland color. His dead dress was only one shad of blue instead of having stripes. He had no patches on his skull and behind his eye bulges he had mushrooms growing. I was angry but worried at the same time. How am I going to go against a powerful corporation like that? Well big enemy or not I had to try so I started gathering my evidence with my biggest proof being I created him back in 1999 and still have the original drawing. Then the dream became another annoying cruise dream about how to park the ship in Mexico. The weather was cloudy for photos and they told us to keep our cameras close and not set them down because there were camera thieves everywhere. And other stressful things. So I didn't wake up very rested.

I got the wanted poster done yesterday and it turned out really nice. Check it out.

Yes very happy with this. But it was a shame to removed the colors I had on him originally that were nice. You guys know I'm not a fan of monotones but it had to be done this time to make it look old.

Ok some sketches.

This is the drawing of Gallemotch I will use for the galaxy pic. The background will be all digital so I have nothing to show for that right now. I need to ink and color him and that will probably be the hardest part of the whole thing.

Meet demon 11. We're toying with the idea of her name being Botanus. She's a plant. She's any and all plants but her main body is an Amorphophallus. Her arms are nepenthes and she can call for parts of any plant to suit her purpose. She is both a healer and a poisoner so when toying with whatever the dominant life form of the planet is at the time. Of course you can imagine that she does not get along with Gallemotch and thinks he is a disgrace to plants though he is half plant himself.

Making that wanted poster last night hurt my hand. It's better today but I'm using the mouse with my left hand for art I think I will just draw and not do anything digital today until later on. Sometimes I write my stories out by hand in a notebook as well when it's like him. Sometimes it's just easier to write on paper the old way.

Current Mood: Good

I saw the George poster on DA this morning before you put this update up. i don't know if they had photos back then, but someone would have had to draw the person on the poster, which someone could do if they saw him.

Nepenthes finally makes it into Thagirion world. I remember talking about trying to find a away to get them in there when you visited me. I want to see her colored since she has Nepenthes and gourds too. As for GAllemotch, I see her hating him more than he would hate her. I can't see her being able to do anything to him because his always on plant killing power would affect her too. I can't see her liking Quetz either though because he is mean to plants just for kicks and giggles. I remember an old sketch of yours where Ophidius was annoying George by messing with some plants.

Glad you saw it. There were photos but the cameras were those old black powder flash ones and the photographer had to get under a blanket to see. They weren't common out west so I'm sure these posters were paintings that were copied. For George they were probably eye witness reports though of course I made this one accurate as though it were a photo of him.

Yes. We finally have nepenthes and budgies in Thagirion Realm. Hehe. Yes that's true. His power is like breathing. We can hold our breaths but we have to concentrate to do it and can't do it very long. He'd had to stop his powers when around her but would probably have them on just a bit as he'd enjoy just hurting her with his presence. He know Thagirion wouldn't want him to kill her as he needs her. Quetz teases EVERYONE even his friends so I don't know yet what their relationship would be. Yeah ha, I drew that one while at your house.

A Sorath-rip-off in Transformers... I do not think that is a good thing, considering that Michael Bay is doing the movies here... he earns a lot of cash with them, but... they are stupid. Sorath in such a movie... oh boy, that would be painful.
Hmm, I did never say it out loud, but I always consider that there are pickpockets everwhere... so of course I keep everything safe in the places that I have an overview of.

Gallemotch in the Galaxy picture... his face looks funnily unhappy considering it's a plant-head.

Well, this seems to be Mother Nature's true form... pretty neat to make a demon that is completely plant-like. Considering she needs to be weaker than the others, it makes sense that she is a plant. While technically plants can evoke a lot of force, they can hardly defend themselves, unless they are Mexican Boxing Trees (I do hope that was what they named in that one Simpsons episode). Well, I guess this one here can, but not so much against the other demons. Especially Gallemotch, whose abilities are the ultimate weakness to her... apart from burning her to ash, which Sorath and Thagirion could do. I am quite curious, if she is neutral, or allied with any faction.
Just one thing comes to mind with Botanus... I think the suffix is masculine. Botana would be the feminine variant.

Well it was a dream so it makes no sense why my mind would bring all these things together randomly choosing Sorath. Though I think I dreamt about Transformers because that Strikerprime guy was talking about them.

Oh yes there are thieves everywhere all over the worlds. Some places just have more than others. My family is from El Salvador where everyone constantly has to watch their backs. I was born in the US but was taught this good survival strategy. My very early childhood we lived in an apartment in a bad neighborhood where if you left a plant out it would get stolen. So I'm always careful and untrusting even after finally having moved to a good area. Chris never got to experience it and had a hard time believing me when I told him people will steal a bar of soap. His excuse was it makes no sense. I told him it doesn't have to make sense. The world is not rational like him and I. The house we lived in before this was a bad place and I told him if we left pumpkin out it would get stolen. Well I got to say told you so when our pumpkin was stolen and he couldn't believe it. You can't trust anyone.

I like that she is not humanoid at all. Yeah she can't really stand up to the others too much but she knows better than to challenge them directly. But weaker forms resort to poison in what they lack in brute strength. This is why it is a weapon of choice of so many women. Yeah she's no match for the top four.

Ha, yeah Gallemotch is always grumpy even in a beautiful environment like I will be placing him in. He does have expression in his mouth and his antennas.

That Strikerprime again... I guess that guy was annoying for more than 24 hours already. And again with that fanboying. Geez, thankfully he didn't made any more steps into my direction.

I purposely have an apartment in the 12th floor... it is quite unlikely to survive the fall from here. And hard to get up so far. But it is not uncommon here either, especially in bad places... it's kind of an universal thing. Never trust anyone, that is an ugly truth. I never cared about my mother saying it looked odd with the money pursue on my side, since it was the most rational way to carry it. I mean... would I recognize if someone pulled it out of my hind-pocket? Probably not.

Yeah, I personally must say that poison is a smarter way of murder anyway. It is also funny as a playstyle. I like to use poison or in general status ailments in RPGs. Especially against enemies that are otherwise powerful enough to kill me in few hits.

Well, I guess that is true. I do have to say, it is quite interesting how much he can express himself in a form that is anything but human.

I used to watch the original cartoon and to me that's the only one that matters. But I'm not a fan of transformers. I don't like the new versions of anything from the 80s actually. They made a bad thing worse, like ponys, or something good and wrecked it.

I like it in games too on my swords or bullets.

I would love to animate Gallemotch talking. That would look so neat and creepy.
audes_ljaudes_lj on February 10th, 2015 12:37 am (UTC)
I guess that is probably better that way considering where that franchise headed nowadays. It's a laughing stock basically to point out what Michael Bay movies are all about. "Bad thing worse, like ponys". You totally got that right.

Very effective that way. That and putting it into other people's pockets for some reason.

I would love to see that actually. Especially because of his strange head-form.

The movies were ok. I meant the cartoons. They've gotten worse and worse and now look like horrible skinny anime characters. They don't even look like robots.

I need to think of what to have him say.

Yeah, I think your dreams might be from gamma's experiences. I hope you get a better rest tonight.

I love that poster of George! Sorry your hurt your hand, though.

I absolutely love your drawing of Gallemotch, too.

Love Botanus as well :)

Yeah, daily experiences often factor into my dream.
I'm glad you like it. Well my hand is much better today.
Aw thanks. I will hopefully work on Gallemotch today.
Glad you like her.
