Plants, cameras and Disney figures
Today has been a very good day. I felt very good today. I still have pain but it was much less. I was able to go outside and do active things and not hurt. I chopped some branches, cleared some dead plants and played with my GoPro camera. I filmed my chickens and me watering my plants. It was so nice to be out. I didn't game or do art today but that's ok. I feel very happy. I was very disapointed that Joint Juice On The Go has been discontinued. That's why I couldn't find it anywhere. Those little packets were great because they were yummy powder you mixed in water. Most other sources of Glucosamine and Chondroitin come in giant pills I can't swallow. There used to be a chewable. It's ok that was huge because I would eat them. But they discontinue those too. But I found a new one called I think Joint Flex. It's expensive but I've been on it for two days now. I mix it with fruit drink because it's gross in just water. It's actually yummy that way. Well I don't know if that's why I felt so good today. Too bad it's way more expensive but if it works it will be worth it. I hadn't thought it might make my back feel better. I just wanted it for those fibro moments I've been having. But I'd rather have less back pain.

Anyway here's my GoPro Hero 3+ Black.

This camera is so small and so powerful. Takes high def video. I can't wait to start doing Time Lapse with it too. I need a tripod and a power source though.

Here it is out of its housing. It has a water proof back door and one that lets sound in. I can't wait to try it out underwater.

And here's my biggest complaint. See the super curved lens? No matter what setting you put it on it has that horrid fish bowl/eye effect. I don't need a wide field of view. This is to cater to the S types. Specifcially the SP's that have been getting on my nerve a lot lately. For that "whole experience." Except the world doesn't actually look that way. And this camera gets really hot after extended use. Other than that it's awesome.

A young Cucumis africanus. Not fully formed and still immature.

Mature ripe ones. Suzi these have been great! Thanks so much.

A Sarracenia Leucophylla Hurricane Creek. First pitcher this year. It's so tall. Can't wait for it to fully open into a creepy mouth.

A pot full of succulents Earthmother gave me.

Nepenthes alata.

Nepenthes miranda.

Nepenthes khasiana. I LOVE this plant. Not really that fancy but the pitchers are huge and it grows very well.

Chris with an Amorphophallus paeoniifolius. My biggest one so far. This is four feet tall.

A Goofy clock and a Donald figure I got for free from Disney Movie Rewards. I've been saving my points for years from movies I get. Wanted to get something nice.

So yes things are going quite nicely here.

The N. alata pitchers have such a cute shape. Pet Plant has a tiny pitcher growing. Are those Cucumis africanus the exploding cucumbers I've heard you talk about. So spiky.

It's Donald. I remember the cartoon that is from.

Aw thanks. I know you've always liked those. They're so tubby at the bottom. Oh awesome. Glad it's doing well. No. I only had one seed come up of the exploding ones and a cut worm ate it as soon as it came up. I got so mad I fed it to the chickens. I have some seeds left and will try again if not next year.

Yes this is a cute figure. It's one of those eps where the nephews were such jerks.

I'm so glad that you feel better. I wonder if it is the medication. That sucks that you can't get the sachets to put in water or even the big sucky tablets. Yes, they are hard to swallow. If the Joint Flex keeps working, I might have to try it (if I can get it).

That is so cool that you are growing African Horned Cucumbers. I love them!

And that Amorphophallus paeoniifolius is awesome!

Your Nepenthes are doing very well! I love your chook house in the background of one of your photos :)

Yes, I have made great progress. I was able to do some work yesterday which is a good sign. Here's the powder. It's called Joint Vibrance.

I mix it with juice and it's great. Mixed with just water is really gross. I put it in a blender. A small 8 oz bottle of juice then in a glass.

These have been quite the surprise. I love those cute cucumbers.

This has been a good year for amorphs. Yeah the chicken coop is nice. The new babies will be living in it soon.
