Missing nepenthes, chicken voices and stuff
I have a mystery on my hands. I am missing a nepenthes plant. I had two N. khasianas. The smaller one is gone, pot and everything. I know I repotted them because they had that bug infestation. I'm fairly sure it didn't die. I'm pretty sure I put them in new pots. So why can I only find the big one? WTF? Makes no sense that it is just gone. I really don't get it. Everyday I get up and am puzzled by this and bothered. I feel the need to replace it but it's a rare plant. I'm lucky I had a second one but I had two in hopes of having a male and a female. Sigh. It just makes no sense.

The chicks voices are changing. Latte and Leafie are starting to sound like hens but they all still cheep and whistle. I wish their voices wouldn't change.

My hands hurt today. I'm worried I gamed too much. I'm in a good game now in Skyrim and really don't want to stop. I drank some Joint Juice today and will try to do other things and not play so much. But I nearly have all the parts for George's suit. I'm just missing his boots.

I'm working on a drawing with Cope and Caroline. I'm almost done with shading. I've been coloring it on Chris's computer. I sooo miss my computer. I'm wondering if rotating the chairs might work. I still have my big Dr. Claw chair. Perhaps I should use that again and give the small one a break. And if I get better and this happens again the use the small one. But I have so much work to do to catch up with my art. I hope to work on that today and also to write. I'm trying to get past this one gun fight I'm writing with George. I think if I can get through that then the rest of the story should go fairly smoothly. I hope. I thought this was going to be a short story but I'm very surprised this may end up as long as Innocence Lost which is my longest completed work so far.

I'm so happy with so many lovely amorphophallus plants right now. I had to repot some yesterday because the soil was retaining too much moisture. So hopefully they'll be ok now.
I think that's all for now. I will post the next chapter soon.

EDIT: I FOUND THE PLANT! It was right in front of my face all this time. It was on the plant rack still needing repoting. I repotted the big one and my mind thought I had done both and now it was "missing". Typical absent minded NT moment.

Your title to this post sounds spooky :) But not when I read the contents!

I'm glad you found your plant and aww...your chicken voices are changing :(

I had lost my plant for months. I'm glad I finally found it. Crazy how it was right in plain sight.

Yes they sound funny right now. They don't sound like chickens yet.
