Hoya blooming
Got a short video for you guys to listen too. Chris was practicing with voices for Cryahgan's human form.

Things are going pretty well here. I haven't done too much creative wise but have been busy working with my chickens and in the garden.

I built this perch for my chickens and they also sleep on that top shelf. There's pleanty of room here for more of them.

And here are the new nests. But they don't like them. Those are old nests and very few of them have used them.

I got this awesome surprise today. I went to look at the Hoya plant earthmother45 gave me a few years ago. And at last it has finally bloomed. I got it as a cutting and it's gotten so long. I'm going to have to make cuttings of it because it must be like 20 feet long by now. But this is the first time it's bloomed. I think I've had it for like 3 years now.

Here you can get an idea what size it is. I don't know what species this is.

Here's a cluster that hasn't opened yet. Neat how they are waxy on the outside and fuzzy inside. There's one other cluster so I'm happy it's finally blooming. I didn't think it would ever do anything other than make long vines.

My Stapelia is getting blooms too.

So is the Huernia. I guess the weather has just been good for succulents. It's actually already in the 90's. Not good. I was hoping cool lower 80's of spring would last until June. It already feels like summer which is not good.

Lastly. Bullet's tail is growing back.

I love hearing Chris practicing! I think I like the Hick voice better. And hello George!

There certainly is plenty of room for your chooks and it will fit more in quite easily.

I don't think you can do all the gardening you need to do when it's the most active time in your garden. When it's too hot outside - that's when you will get back to your art etc.

Your Hoya flower looks just like Earthmother's. The plant sure has grown long. I love that your succulents are about to flower, too. They are special.

And yay for Bullet's tail feathers growing back!

Yeah it's been funny. The hick voice is really funny, but for his personality I think the other is better. He's an ice guy so he needs to be from somehwere in the north. Hehe George always sounds cool.

I love there's so much space in this love and it's easy to clean because it is plastic.

I hope I can get back to my art soon. I think about it a lot.

Yes it was a cutting she gave me and now it's gotten so big. Can't wait for everything to bloom.

Yes she needs a tail haha

I think the hick voice is funnier, and it fits with his biker look better. And George is great as always.

The Hoya is a neat flower. Now I want to visit you because of your own little botanical garden. Also the birds too.

Stubby is getting her tail back. Nigel's long feathers are starting to come back again. Hopefully he won't pull them out this time.

Yes it's definitely funnier. But since he's a northern ice dude I think we will go with the other voice. I like the hick voice but it also makes him seem stupid which he is not. Thanks. I LOVE George's voice. That last quote turned out so nice.

I'm happy it finally made a flower. Yes you must visit me one day. I'm uploading the photos of my trip to DA now and really wanting to do that again. I even want to do the train trip again. That would be wonderful.

Yep. Glad everyone is growing their feathers back. Yeah I hope not.

Oh, definitely the "hick" voice! It's great the way you two can collaborate on projects.

The chicken coop looks fabulous and so roomy! It looks like it has a sunroof.... that's a cool feature.

I'm so glad your hoya bloomed! Now that it is established, it will put out more and more blooms each year. This is a variegated leaf hoya. I love the new pink leaves it puts out. I have a plain solid leaf one and a rope hoya, too. I think I should give you a cutting of the rope hoya because it is so unusual. I also see the burro tail there, too. It looks plump and healthy. They get flowers on them also, but it takes a few years. Did you see my comment the other day on your journal about a day in May to visit?

Hehe glad you like the hick voice. It's definitely funny. Yes I love that. I hope to record some speaking dialog with George and Leeanix once I write it out. Will be hard for me because I have a hard time showing emotion when I read out loud.

Thanks. Yes lots of room. The other half has more I didn't how. And yes there are two sun roofs and a window. But they don't like the nests for some reason.

Yes I'm very happy. It has been putting out long vines but never flowers until now. And yes the burro tails. Those are my faves. I bought another set from Lowe's that's tiny. I will have to pot them up in a hanging basket. I love how they trail.

No I did not. The last journal comment you left me was about Henrietta eating the mouse a few weeks ago. I'll just email you about that. I definitely want to do it.
