New drawing of George and more videos
I finished another sketch of George last night. I wanted to draw the scene after Malidicus was done with him. I'm working on what takes place right after that and that story is giving me a hard time. But here's what I have so far. Poor guy.

Drew this today and I'm loving it. George is seriously injured. I love seeing him like this. Poor guy, I definitely like him a lot. I definitely want to color it but I have so much to do and I'm so behind. I didn't draw much of a background other than a horizon line. That's because I can probably add all the plants and rocks digitally. Apart from the blood I love how his ripped up duster adds to this. I added all those little pieces of cloth last and when I did that I think it just make the scene all that much worse in a good way.
I hate this scanner. I miss my old one. This looks so much better in real life

I hope I can start to ink the Christmas pic today. It's scanned too and ready to go. Here's hoping. I need to start to think about gifts too now. Eep I need to make several lists then.

I uploaded three videos too but will only share two now. One is of my Thanksgiving decorations. I really like how the house looks now inside. So pretty. The other is of the cool birds and bugs I saw in Haiti.

Oh I also updated George's character sheet

I have been drawing his hat wrong. Hats are hard for me. So I put in the three views that are correct.

Tonight is going to be really cold. I need to get going and make preparations for all that. It rained last night and rain always comes ahead of a cold front. Poor plants. I hope my passion vines will be ok outside. One has gotten so big.

I recognize some of those clings as the ones I gave you. I remember the cooked turkey one you put on the microwave door. I like the big head plush turkey too. The chickens got a cameo too. The vulture on the CD shelf got a laugh too.

I like the decoy outside too. It looks just like our visitors, of which my grandma counted 15 this morning.

Poor George just doesn't get a break, does he? Time to go hide somewhere and sleep it off until it heals.

Yeah, I put them up. They are great. I love that turkey. It's nice to eat and have something so cute to look at. Yep, my chickens happen to be in the window which was great. And My N. khasiana got a cameo with one of its lovely pitchers. Yeah that's a Halloween vulture I just didn't feel like putting away.
I finally get to use my turkey decoy as decoration. I'd like to get a male sometime. Hopefully I'll find a good deal because they are expensive. I got luck only paying $7 for her.

Yeah, his life just sucks. If only he could. What happens after this just sucks also.

Ouch! George really took a beating there, didn't he?

Yeah. Poor thing. He's in real bad shape.

Great videos! Hehe I love how you decorate your house. Oh! We have that Thanksgiving turkey movie over here. I don't know what it's like but I saw the poster outside the cinema.
I need to do some Christmas shopping before bed. So busy!
It's colder here now too. I was shivering earlier and the heater was on.

Thanks. It's definitely fun to decorate and make the walls interesting. I want to see that though I hear it's anti-American. I'll check it out sometime and decide if I like it or not.
I definitely need to get started on Christmas too.
The cold isn't helping my situation any. Not good.

Oh, where to begin.
I feel bad for George especially after I saw your animation the other day and learned more about him. This picture of him, even though it's just a line drawing, really conveys crushing hopelessness.

Wow, you certainly do have a lot of Thanksgiving decoration. From watching your videos of other holidays I think you plan and utilize your space very well. What caught my attention was the turkey outside in the beginning--it's very realistic.

The big green gourd with the eye looking like a bird. I think I've seen that one before.

Loved the chickens caught outside the window and the delicate vines across the window. What is that plant?

And I see you have a little orchid in the open wooden box.

Did you ever get to see the sphinx moth that came from those caterpillars? I might have missed your post about it if you've already showed it.

Aw, I'm glad you can fell this from my sketch despite it also being a poor scan. Yes I make George's life very difficult. He's outcast from his home. He's trying to find a way back and he's not accepted by humans for what he truly is. He was attacked by Malidicus the werewolf (Chris's character) for a fight that wasn't finished years ago. The fight with Ophidius that got him outcast in the first place. He didn't know why he was attacked and was caught by surprise or he would have been able to defend himself. He asks Malidicus "Why are you doing this?" When he tells him it's unfinished business George goes, "I have already paid for that." Then he passes out like this. Malidicus lets him go because he thinks George is pathetic and letting him live is worse than killing him.

Thanks. I've slowly been trying to build up my Thanksgiving stuff over the years. It's not easy to find actually. Mostly it's a bunch of pumpkins but I have very few turkeys, Pilgrims and Indians. And I don't have any ships. I'd like some kind of Mayflower figure or cut out. Yes that's last Christmas's gift, the female turkey. I love her. She's the only outside "Thanksgiving" thing I have. I hope I can get another one at a good deal because they are expensive. They aren't decorations. They are decoys but I want to use them for the holidays in my yard. Yes, I take everything down and rework the same space in my living room for the next holiday. Friday I will start putting stuff away and pulling things out like the budgie sled.

I'm so glad my chickens happened to be there to make a cameo. They're such sweet hens. That is a passion vine called Passiflora manta. It's a very unique little plant that the leaves look like bat wings. They look like Batman's boomerangs. And the flowers are mini and look like eyelashes. I call them eyelash aliens. I will send you a cutting of one. They are so adorable.

Yes I finally have a yellow orchid but one of them is not doing well. I think it's getting root rot.

Yes I have looked it up. They are the Tetrio Sphinx that you found for me. I was disapointed the moth is not so exciting and the prettier stage is the caterpillar. That seems so wrong but wow they are such lovely bugs!

I do remember now you saying you were disappointed at how the moth looked. The picture in my book was pretty drab looking, too. Hard to believe after seeing the caterpillar. I hope you can get another of those turkey decoys. I like it because it is so realistic looking. I'd probably leave it up year round.

Yes I was expecting the moth to be like a rainbow or something spectacular after seeing the caterpillars. But what they lack in color they may make up for in size. I wonder if they are big? And they must really look like hummingbirds when they fly. Here's a nice site about them.

Yes I'd like a nice Tom turkey decoy so I can at least have a pair. That's why I wanted a decoy. I knew it would be very realistic. I saw some on ebay today but they were too expensive. I'm hoping to find that lucky deal again. They are nice to have around.

Love the decorations :)
