Well, this is just confusing to me, because, once again, I think I am in the middle of some of these :)

As ENFP you are Ne, Fi, Te, Si. You use your creativity first and like to come up with new ideas derived from other ideas. Secondly you use your feelings empathically and care about the plight of others. You're not as expressive as an Fe would be but you really feel things inside. Your thinking is extroverted which means you plan and execute your ideas though not as much being that it's third and your last is introverted sensing where you pay attention to details and facts. So you N and your F are really what rule.

Thank you!

Oh my gosh. The first two for both me and my husband are both spot on. My Ti vs. his Te can get interesting when we're both focused on the same issue or problem since we're wired so differently.

Thanks for sharing the list. It's so insightful.

INTP/INTJ is such an awesome combination, though we make you P's uneasy because our Te actually says what everyone else is only thinking and causes conflict which we don't care about. Hehe. I think that the wonderful thing is the Ne/Ni combination. INTJ with Ni obsesses on one thing really hard, they see all the connections and move the project forward with Te. But then we get stuck because we only focus on the one thing. We need an Ne to help us get unstuck and see things from another perspective. My gosh I pick Chris's brain all the time and he has helped me get unstuck with my stories so often I'm so thankful.

Yeah, Dave will say stuff all the time that I'm like, "Oh, I can't believe you actually said that!" He'll be like, "But it's the truth and everyone knows it!" and my response is, "I know, but it's still not something you should just say!"

And yes, you INTJs do get focused on something, sometimes to the point I'm left thinking, "Wow, how did it get to be that involved?" Like with the game room in our store. I mentioned it'd be cool to do it and next thing I know, he's already asked people about this game system and that, and found someone else to get us old original controllers and wires, and days later he's still looking for just the right cable or cabinet to make it perfect. Meanwhile, I'll be like, "Okay, that's done, so I'm moving onto this other thing I've been wanting to do," while he keeps plugging away tweaking and adding long past the point where I'd have called it done.

Oh gosh, your comment made me laugh so much. YES YES, that's what it's like for us. Chris is happy I actually implement his ideas or they'd just stay ideas forever. But I do get obsessed with things because of lead Ni and that's why INTJ's are prone to obsessive compulsive. Like today he told me he was playing Red Dead multiplayer I was so happy he was leveling his own character because he doesn't like the multiplayer. I leveled his character on PS3 almost 4 times. So today I asked, "What's your favorite gun?" He told me it depends which type and told me each of his faves. So now I will have to find out which of those is at the highest level and I will play his character when he's not home so I can get him that so he can have all his favorite guns unlocked because I know he doesn't have the patience to do it. But that's ok because I'm crazy and I do and I just want him to have his nice high level stuff so he can have fun without doing pike's basin a million times over.

I like this chart. :D It's quite useful especially since I know the order my function are in (Ti, Ne, Si, and Fe).

And yes my thoughts are often internal, not great at thinking out loud. Then I forgot what I thought about, lol. xD And it's true that I'm not too aggressive, too. D: When people yell at me I'm just like: "O.O um...". xD I do like organizing my ideas like listing things, I always listed stuff (mainly birds) but never drew those birds, lol. xD And it's true that I'm fine with stuff that is likely the truth, and not necessarily objective proof. xD

And wow, that description of Ne's is perfect for me. :D My ideas tend to be all over the place and I can't focus on just one! D: So yea I add in more and more ideas and change from one idea to the next and there's no order! xD Very scatter brained indeed. :I As you know I love creativity. I hate routine, too, always have. :I

Eh... I'm not really a sensing type so this one's a pretty weak function for me. :I But yea I do occasionally recall and compare info. And I do use past facts to interpret ideas. I sometimes follow instructions, though sometimes I don't care. xD But then again I'm not like Se, either. I don't really live in the present, though I do like seeing knew things. I'm not a huge fan of trends. :P But then again I'm kinda sloppy, though kinda not. D: My room is a mess nevertheless. xD I don't care much for rules, though I prefer not to break them because I hate getting in trouble. :I

Yea I don't experience much empathy for other's emotions, haha! xD But yea I resemble Fe more than Fi for sure. 8I I guess I can be expressive when I wanna be? xDD I can be so crazy and loud.

Now I'm wondering why the hell I typed all this out. :I Oh well, I guess I just wanted to talk about Myers Briggs. xDD

Thanks. It took me a while to start to understand secondary functions. Once I did it helped me type people even better. When I'm not sure and someone is an X on a point this helps narrow down which way they favor. Mine are Ni, Te, Fi, Se. You and I have NT first which is why our types are comparable and our introvert and extrovert ones are in the same order because we're both introverts.

Organization of your Ti works well with our J nature.

Here is where an INTP/INTJ team shines. You guys are the creativity with NE. Ni doesn't get bored of an issue so though you've moved on we're still working to make your idea come to pass. Ni has a hard time creating something from nothing and we get stuck. So we need an Ne to help us see something new. It's a wonderful thing. Chris has helped me get unstuck so many times.

Ah but you are. Not in an open obvious way but Si, helps you with organization that you Ti likes so much. I find most INTP's love the concept of time because of their fascination with the past. I have Se and though it's last it really has become developed for me. All four of your functions become more developed as you get older. Because Se is about experience and sharing it is why I have a much stronger urge to travel and share my travels with Chris and everyone else. For me I think the ideal concept of rules is very good. Because of this I have tested wrong often and ISTJ when I started out. Rules are in place to stop bad people and then they are punished for breaking the rules. Rules are almost not there for good people. Yes that's an ideal situation. Life is not ideal though. And there are many bad and stupid rules. Unnecessary rules which I will not follow and find ways to get around. Some instantly when I hear about them my mind goes to work on how to break them. So I am not an ISTJ who would not dare to break them. So the answer for me on "do you like rules." Is also no. I did not know it back then. But we are not like the SP's that break rules just because. They are the rebels and that is bad. With Ni, I instantly see flaws and come up with ways to fix a system. That's what we specialize in. We are system builders.

I have a hard time understanding Fi and don't get Fe at all. That's my problem writing George and trying to figure how to make him emotional. He's Fe second which is pretty bad. Thank goodness yours is last. The location makes a huge difference. Fi is colder more no nonsense though.

I'm glad you did. I love talking about this stuff.
gamma_wingsgamma_wings on July 6th, 2014 01:54 pm (UTC)
Lol I love that icon. xD Megamind is a good movie. ^^

You're welcome, and ah. I just didn't bother with them at first, though recently I took interest in them. But agreed, they're definitely very useful and helped me understand the difference between types even better. And it's cool how ours are comparable, though slightly different. :P

I see. :D Quite cool how our Ni and Ni works very well together. Yep we're the creativity and you're the ones that keep focused on our creative thoughts. :P Definitely a wonderful thing, I like that it's your type that can make our thoughts a reality, lol. :P

Ah, I see. And yea, once again that probably links back to my habit of listing stuff. Oooh I was always fascinated by time, so yes yes, that's definitely true I love it so much! D: It's cool how all four functions do become more developed over time, but then again not surprising. And ah, I like to travel but I usually don't have much of an urge to talk about it later. Oh, I see, and yes, although rules are meant to stop bad guys from doing bad stuff, life isn't ideal like you said. And I can agree on your hatred of bad and stupid rules, I get annoyed by them, too. And yes, exactly, I rarely ever break rules myself, because that's stupid and pointless on it's own right. Of course I'm not terribly hesitant to not follow if, like you said, they're stupid and pointless.

I see, I bet it's pretty hard for you to write about George in that sense. D: And yea thank god it's last for me, so it doesn't dominate my life and all that shit. :I And true, us INTPs tend to be goofier. XP

Yea so do I. :D I like long thought out conversations in general.

Thanks. He's an awesome INTJ. Yes great movie.

I didn't either. I didn't think they were that important. But then I started to look into them. I think that's also an INTJ trait. We can come off close minded but we are not. We just dismiss things quickly but it stays in our mind and then we start giving it a second chance and studying it and likely accepting it.

Yes types that have the last letters opposite are called complimentary and are a good match.

Yes and it's neat they develope in order usually. So when young our first function is really on. Then our second. 3rd and 4th takes longer to develop unless we have an example of someone that dominates with those functions.
I can't think of an example where I've gone against rules but I think there have been many instances.

George still puzzles me and probably always will. Here's a post where I was asking my friends for advice.
http://thagirion.livejournal.com/739864.html
Problem was my friends all have Fi or Fe last so it doesn't help they couldn't really explain it either. I had not ISFJ's reply to this. Hummmm. They probably don't like, "So tell me what it's like to be so crazy?"

Yes long deep conversations are great.
gamma_wingsgamma_wings on July 6th, 2014 09:21 pm (UTC)
Yea, same. D: I knew about them but for some reason didn't pay much attention to them. :I Good thing I finally did, as they are important and quite interesting, too.

Yes, that is true. :3 I was told that when I was a toddler I was very quite and almost "emotionless". :I Then I guess my other functions developed more so I became less cold, though now I think I'm becoming "colder" again since I'm maturing. And ah, I see, personally I can't think of a specific example where I broke the rules, either. xD I certainly have, though. :P

I see, though it makes sense that most of your friends have that function last, since you're most likely to be prone to people of a type similar to yours. But yea, you're right that the ISFJs probably don't like being asked that, hehe. xD

Agreed. :3
Des: INTP Lovethagirion on July 6th, 2014 10:43 pm (UTC)
BTW, you should upload some emotive icons. I love the irony we're talking about how "emotionless" our types are but they both are very amused by emoticons. Probably because tone can not be expressed through text so having a large selection of smiles and personal icons makes up for that. Free accounts here I think are allowed 15 icons. That's more than enough.

It's better to be "cold". We stay objective while other people are crying or angry and making bad judgements because of that. Our parents should have been proud to have had quiet children. When we met badcowboy she told us her parents were puzzled but pleased. The other parents were jealous because she was a well behaved child. So was I. My mother always boasted about how I was even a good baby, though I find that hard to believe, and same with Chris's parents. Introverts for the win!

Well problem is the friends I have that have Fe are INTP's and they have it last. So it doesn't really help much since you can say the last function is basically non-exist as it takes so long to develop. Personally I hope Chris never develops his Fe. But you see how I'm confused by George. And being male he probably would show emotion less so that's also confusing.
gamma_wingsgamma_wings on July 7th, 2014 01:58 pm (UTC)
Yes I definitely should, I'll get to that... eventually. And agreed, I do like emoticons for some reason, too. xD Btw I like the emoticon you have now. :D

Yes, true. And agreed, I bet that my mom was pretty proud of me at some point, for being pretty quiet. And lol, is that so? xD I don't know if my parents exactly boast about that though... o.o" And yea, introverts are awesome! :P

Yea, true. o.o Though I could probably tell you a bit about it, just not too much. And most definitely, emotional characters can be hard to portray realistically and the reason I don't have a lot of those.
