Part 2 of my giant mansion
I haven't played today and I may not. Been so busy doing stuff and making plans for this year. I think this is just going to be an awesome year. It is lucky 13 after all. So here is part two of the mansion my guys live in.

I like the music I picked for the background in this a lot. I may use that for other videos. I love my grow room. Half those planters have stuff growing in them now. I think the music room is so beautiful as is Owen's room. I wish the video feature worked on my game so I didn't have to use my camera to get this.

Chris came home early today and was awesome. He helped me do something I've been planning for a long time. We wanted to trade blinds on our windows. His have a turny stick to open and close them and pull them back and forth. Mine doesn't it's broken. Also mine are very dark and his are light. I like letting light in and opening and closing a lot. He likes it dark and never opening his blinds. So trading was the logical thing to do. It just took some work because he had to unscrew everything and take it apart then put it back together. But now my computer room isn't blinding and I can play my game earlier in the day. Our windows face south so in winter they are super bright. I love light but not when I'm trying to see the monitor. I can't play games in the day or work on art so that's one reason I don't play in the day much. So this is way better for both of us. I want to rearrange my room too so I can have more plants in here.

I forgot to say, I love the music too. Its really relaxing and suits the videos well.
Hehe I wish there was some sort of virtual reality thing like a holodeck you could put this in so we could walk around in it for real and meet your characters and hang out with them. That would be so awesome. I love it when games are so good, you just want to jump into them.

Thanks. I think that type of music is called Modern Jazz. I like that too. Oh I hear you on that! And with food replicators you'd never have to leave the holodeck. I'd be like Lt. Barkley in that I'd get holoaddiction and would only want to interact with imaginary characters and not real people. I know that would happen to me. Yes I do too. I'm starting to miss Mass Effect. There are some downloads out now I need to get and play those.

That was wonderful that Chris could come home early and could do that for you. It's always good to have a handy person in the house and what a gentleman, too!

It was very cool of him. He just had the urge to do something like that so I was very glad. I can pretty much do projects non-stop. He doesn't have my energy but when he does we get way more accomplished.

I love the neon signs and lights from Late Night, too. I don't tend to put them in houses, but I love them for building bars, clubs, and lounges. They are very cool.

Thinking about the top floor, is it big enough to fit an ice or roller rink? Maybe they could do that up there. Or maybe you could decorate it with the potted trees and plants and make it like an ornamental garden.

Cope's room turned out very nice. I'd hang out in his room, too!

Those are great! and I found out there's a car one in Generations so I need to redo the walls and add one or two of those to the music room. I don't put them in the living areas much but I think they are great for the music room to give it that club feel and the arcade because arcades need that type of flash.

Chris originally had a roller rink on his mansion but when the game would load it would drop down into the first floor. He had to delete it in buy mode then hit undo and it would be back on the top floor. It got to be too annoying doing that so he just got rid of it. That's too bad because having a big flat roof you'd think that would be a great idea. We tried putting other giant stuff up there too like the dinosaur statue. But same thing. What a shame because that would have been awesome. Hum, a decorative garden sounds like a good idea.

Yeah Cope's room is very geeky. I love it. More so now that he's decorating it with his own inventions.
