Merry Christmas.
Christmas Card 2012

So again Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks for all the cool comments on my Sims post. I will respond soon. We decided to not to to the park and do bird watching after all. We were very relaxed and lazy and we both really wanted to Sim despite saying we didn't. But we have been getting on and off to spend time together.

Christmas Tree 2012

The Christmas Tree this year.

My turkey decoy for Thanksgiving

earthmother45, you wanted to see my turkey decoy. This is it. Chris is holding her so you can get a sense of scale.

Under the Tree 2012

Under our tree this morning.

Christmas 2012 haul

This is basically everything we got. I bought the turkey and blue case for myself. In the background is my Plinkster 702 .22 rifle. The lime green thing is a humidifer for Chris. I got a very cool turkey vulture plush from my good friend actipton80. I was hugging it a lot. Sims 3 games and expansion pacs for us. suzidragonlady loved the awesome seeds and everything else you sent. And silvolf got me two cute budgie figures. If you click the picks then mouse over you'll see the notes that show what the small stuff is.

We're going to try to find some place open to eat today. I hope what we do find isn't crowded. Then it's back to our games. It's been a very relaxing and quiet Christmas.

really neat that way of showing what things were on the sofa - how'd do that? All the best for 2013 Eric

Thanks. If you have a photobucket account all you have to do is be logged in, drag your mouse across the part of the picture until it makes a box, select note, type what you want to say then save.
All the best to you too. Merry Christmas.

I need to type about today in my LJ. I love your Christmas tree. It's pretty. The turkey decoy is cute and looks real. I've seen enough wild turkeys in my yard to tell, but they didn't visit us today. I'm glad you like the vulture plush. I was hugging one when I visited the gift shop after I was done at the raptor center yesterday.

I need to go and respond to your post. Thank you. It's been a very nice little tree. Sometimes I wish it were wider so I could put more ornaments on it. It's pretty stuffed. Thanks. I love how realistic she is. I had her on the couch for a few days and she keeps scaring me because I think a bird got in the house. Well I've gotten used to her now but those first few times I would walk in the room I would gasp. I wish there were more turkeys here. I think it's too urban. Yes, I love my vulture. I even dreamt about giving a lecture on their anatomy to my friend Earthmother because of the plush you sent. There was more involved and odd like most dreams but I'm too groggy to write about it. He's so soft.

Really nice stuff! :D Looks like you had an awesome Christmas so far.

One pack of seeds are just peppers and no pumpkins but I had to get them because they are bell-shaped ones, I have never seen some like these before. :D I hope that they will grow and really look like on the pack then, it should look pretty and sweet.

The chocolate is a very special and rare one, organic and fair trade from Zotter and an exclusive type. They make very exotic kinds of chocolate and it is very expensive but I just love Zotter chocolates (especially their coconut chocolate is to-die-for-delicious). They are one of the best in Europe and you even do something good when buying all their fair trade and organic stuff. I was at the factory once when they had their open house day, one can eat chocolate there until you need to puke from it for free *lol* XD. Some more about it: http://www.zotter.at/en/about-zotter/news/detail/article/zotter-weltbester-chocolatier.html

I also made my Christmas-posting. ;)

It was great. I need to write about the second half of it now. I forgot to take pictures of my Christmas village. I saw those peppers. They look cute. They should do very well for me provided I can keep the stink bugs away. Peppers and tomatoes do great here. I look forward to growing them. I like the different colors on the same plant. I also like how your seed packs are bigger than ours and have nicer photos. Naples Long is a cool pumpkin. I have heard of them and seen them in catalogs.

That's neat info about the chocolate. Thanks for sending that. When I opened the gift I thought it was a music CD hehe. I think I will enjoy it with some coffee.
I saw your post and enjoyed it. I could sense your excitement.

Looks like you two had a really fun Christmas and got some great stuff! I love how your Christmas tree is next to the arcade machine.

Thanks. It was very nice. Hehe, yeah after putting it out there this year and getting the new 55 gallon tank I was worried we wouldn't have room for the tree. We almost didn't.
