Pigeon progress
I'm behind on posting pics of my pigeons. They are basically grown up now and it's so awesome that the budgie that was in with them adopted them right away and sits on them though they are so much bigger than her. I never expected that to happen. Here are pics from a few weeks ago.

Youngest baby pigeon 2012

Youngest pigeon.

Older baby pigeon 2012

Older pigeon.

Feeding response

They're always hungry.

Wing streaching

A week later.

More wing streaching

Dinosaurs running

Caught him running. They look like dinosaurs.

New cage and nest

Back in the cage. I need up uploader more recent pics since they are big and learning to fly. Their tails haven't grown in yet.

I haven't done anything. As I mentioned my back has been achy and today I finally hurt it all the way by doing a morning streach. I put my hands over my head and it was aweful on my left side. I'm still hurting and had to be in bed all day. So I was gaming again. I played Mass Effect 3 and got really far this time. In fact the story's finally picked up and I'm finally enjoying it. Wow there have been some wesome cinemas and I love seeing Owen in this. He looks great. I need to get some screen caps and the best way to do it is to record my game play on DVD.
I don't know how long I'll be down. I hope not long because it does really suck. Though it was fun to play I didn't get anything accomplished. I really wanted to work on my art.

I love these pics of the pigeon babies!

I hate it when you are in pain like this. I'm here for you, girl.

From what I have seen watching you play ME3, it does look awesome!

These two babies have turned out so sweet.
Yeah, it's kind of messed everything up.
But I am loving Mass Effect. I really want to record some of the cinemas.

Somehow I have never seen baby pigeons before. I can't believe how big their beaks are.

I hope you feel less achy!

I bet you have. You've probably seen fledged babies but most people don't know how to tell babies from adult. I'll postcomparison pics too. Yeah, baby birds have over sided eyes, beaks and feet they have to grow into.
Thanks. I'm not doing too well.

Aaaw...those baby pigeons are so cute and ungainly at the same time :) That's heartwarming that the budgie adopted them, even though they are bigger than her. I like how you document their progress.

I'm sorry that your side has got worse. I really wanted to comment yesterday, that I would like to be able to offer you a massage, but you are too far away. I want to even more, now! I hope you get well soon. I'm glad your husband is there for you.

I'm glad you're enjoying you game and I hope you can do more art soon.

I think you're going to like the budgie pics. Most came out real blurry because my camera couldn't focus through the bars but I did get some nice videos too.

Thanks, that's nice. I would love to meet you sometime. I think about you often. I've always wanted to go to Australia.

Yes, I'm loving this game. I should probably get to it soon since I shouldn't be up.

Wow! Amazing! I love the baby pigeon pictures! You know what my first thought was when I looked at (especially the first one) the pictures. The flying dinosaurs (for lack of a better word, I don't know their names). But that first picture just looked like one ready to take off.

***Oh, I just finally read where you said they look like dinosaurs to you, too. :))

Hope you heal fast! I know how debilitating the back pain can be.

Ah you mean the pterosaurs. Yeah, I can see why you thought that about their heads. I was actually refering to Theropod dinosaurs the bi-pedal carnivores. Pterosaurs are not dinosaurs but flying reptiles, but they did live at the same time as dinos. Dinos were only on land. I meant a dino like This since the meat eating dinos are the ancestors of birds. You can really see their heratiage in my of the baby birds.

Thanks. Yeah I'm not doing so well today either.

Ha! All I can say to that is: You keep the names straight (and you do it so beautifully) and I'll enjoy your pictures and art. :))

They are so ugly they are cute. I want to hold one.

Backaches suck. I'm glad that I don't have them very often any more. I hope yours get better soon.

Yeah, I love baby pigeons. They are hot and soft and their skin is thing and slides over their muscles when held.

Thanks. Still not doing so good.

I love their soft downy fluff! And their huge beaks lol! They remind me of the pigeon baby I found, the sqeaker.

They are cute as little babies.

Wow! I'd never seen a baby pigeon before. They look so awkward at that stage.

I hope your back feels better soon!

They are funny. I posted some pics earlier when they were smaller and you commented.
They grow up pretty quick.

Thanks. I'm better but still not doing so well.

Yeah, I meant I'd never seen them at that stage. I remember the other pics. Yours are the first baby pigeons I've seen.

I think they look funnier than chickens do at that "growing out of chick stage" stage.
