Anticipating new books
Chris and I are still on our big nostalgic kick and revisiting some of our favorite stuff from the 80's and 90's. He found his favorite old VCR on Ebay and it came in today. I have been searching for mine too. I had two. They looked exactly the same but the second one I bought was different and had the copy protection on it. Boo. I found out what the model numbers were today. They were by GE and they were VG4216 and VG4016. These looked exactly alike except the 4216 was the later model tht had copy gaurd and an extra 100 button the controler. So needless to say if I can ever find a working VG4016 I'd love to get it again. I found just the remote on Ebay. I'm tempted to get it just to have something of it. For just $6 I may do that.

Looking forward to the future now. There's a kid's dinosaur book coming out June 2012 I really want called Hatchlings Life Sized Baby Dinosaurs by Kelly Millner Halls. The cover has a baby Oviraptor on it that's just adorable. I like that type of art so I really want this book. I also found out there's a children's book series done in comic book style called Captain Raptor. I've seen the cover art and it looks cool and funny. It's about space dinosaurs done up with all the cheesey fun of 60's sci-fi space shows. They live on a planet called Jurassica and fly in a spaceship called The Megatooth. How cool is that? I want these books. Here's a page I found for the book Captian Raptor and the Space Pirates. Haha, love that 60's retro space font.

And speaking of dinos, I've started the next frame with the compies. Perhaps I can actually finish it tomorrow. After that I only have one more red sky background then I can start showing some different scenary.

I like the art for the Captain Raptor book. I love when things are well drawn like that.
I stil have a VCR but most people I know threw theirs out, along with all their VHSs.

Yeah, he's a good artist.
I'll never get rid of my VCR, well we never did. It just finally broke. Glad we got it back.

Wow, the art in that children's book is good!

Keep looking out for the VCR!
