I think I'm officially re-obsessed! And I love it!
My icon should say "It's BACK!" Hehe. I'm rather sure I'm officially obsessed with Jurassic Park and dinosaurs in general again. I'm loving it. I found out there are some new Papo figures I REALLY want to get. I need to save and put the nepenthes on a back burner for a while. I'm still obsessed with them and care for them daily. I just need to save for that one final big order then concentrate on dino figures and finding missing parts of my collection. Papo makes very nice figures of all kinds of historical stuff. They make dinos based on Jurassic Park and they look like the ones from the movie than any of the official toys did. That's sad. It's too bad they aren't in scale with the toys.

Before I get too far into that, I got my nepenthes from Crystal today. Those were the ones I got for doing the commission for her. They're awesome red albos that are just like the one I got last year that I lost. I'm thrilled because I have now nearly replaced most of the nepenths I lost last year. I just need an N. neoguinensis (or two. I want a pair of all my faves for breeding), N. lowii and N. "Lowesiensis". Lowesiensis was a rather common nepnethes in the US and could only be found in Lowe's and sometimes Home Depots though the splitters would call the latter N. "HomeDepotensis". Haha. Yeah my unknown hybrid from Lowe's my very first nep from a cube died. I hate that I don't have the one that started it all for me and most Lowe's quit carrying them. I don't know why so I can't replace it. They quit carrying them after I bought that one. It really sucked. I want another Lowe's nep. And Home Depot doesn't carry any CP's. Anyway, I'll post pics of that tomorrow. Right now I've got more JP photos. I hope you'll like them.

JP Bush Devil Tracker Jeep

This is the Bush Devil Tracker. It's a cool jeep from the movie that shot missles and had a snare for roping dinos. More vehicles behind the cut.

I'm ready for him this time

Since the jeep has a gun mounted on the back I figured instead of having Malcolm lying in the back with a chewed up leg like in the movie he could actually be defending himself against the T-rex this time.

Where's that T-rex?

Malcolm is ready for the T-rex this time around. Instead of lying around in the back seat he's got a missle now. No broken leg this time around.

Jungle Explorer

The series one Jurassic Park Jungle Explorer based on the Ford Explorer from the movie. This is a great toy because it looks so much like the one in the movie. The hood comes off for Dino Damage.

What's there to be scared of?

This one's called "What's there to be Scared of?"
Malcolm and Grant take a harmless drive in the Jungle Explorer.

Ian FREEZE!!

Ian, FREEZE!!
You think they'll have that on the tour? Dr. Grant loads the rocket launcher missle. Do you think he can save Malcolm?

The dinos are not from the Jurassic Park series but from Papo which made way better dinos than anything in the JP toy line. It's too bad that they're not to scale, but they look awesome.
Malcolm: "Watch where you're aiming that thing, Grant!"

Well this stinks

Well this Stinks
Grant readies the rocket launcher but seems the T-rex is aleady there. Muldoon and Sattler pull up to try and save Malcolm but Spinosaurus wants to claim his prize too. And no one's noticed that raptor. This does not look good for our heros.

I was cracking up as I set this scene up. Knowing me everyone will get killed.

I had so much fun making the ones with the figures. I was laughing a lot. I could probably make a lot of scenarios and recreate some of the movie scenes.

I always knew the flame was still in there. It is really refreshing to see that fire with gasoline thrown on it. hehe. I am happy to help you dig out all your figures and vehicles!

I am happy for you that you got those Neps. They look sweet!

The pics are awesome! I like the Ian and Grant one in the Ford Explorer. Just like the film.

Man, those Papo figures are gorgeous.....

It's definitely on fire now. Hehe.

Yes, I'm glad I was able to find some. Now to get those black ones.

Yeah, I need to find the screen cap where it's similar to that one.

Yes need more Papo figures.

Hehe I love how the figures fit so well into the cars. And the details on the dinos are awesome.

Yeah it's nice. Their legs don't bend so you'd think it would be hard but other than the person in the passenger side of the jeep it's not bad. There's a control panel you have to put between their legs and it's hard to get them into that.

Hmmm...and here I was thinking of posting pics of my kids' Matchbox and similar toay a while ago. My kids nearly took them home with them, too. #2 son has already taken his Lanbourghini :)

I had to lol at that last scene :)

Well you still can if there are any around. Ha, he took the best one. We have some big cars in our collection that are nice. They're boxed up though. I wish we had more room to display all our collections. Chris's shelves have been awesome but there's just no room for everything. We need a bigger house. Or turn the garage into more rooms.

Hehe that was so funny to set up.

Yeah, I still will at some point.

Yeah, he did take the best one :)

Haha! Next I expect to see a picture with one of the human figures being chowed down on.

Actually after I put the camera way, Malcolm's leg ended up in the T-rex's mouth and he was dangling that way til Chris came home. He was trying to tell me a work story and couldn't get through it because he kept staring at the figures and busting out laughing between sentences. I'll be taking more pics like this and set up little stories or something.
