Tomorrow morning we leave
I've been working all day just to get ready. I'm tired and I didn't get everything done. But what didn't get done isn't that important. Oh, I'm worried about my birds and then my plants. But I left step by step directions for Mike. I hope Henrietta will behave. I hope she won't run away. And I don't know what will happen to her since no one will be home to let her in to lay eggs. I hope she finds somewhere to lay them and use the coop like the other chickens.
I also hope it won't be a problem not having rented a car or perhaps we can still get one by taking a taxi to the airport. I hope we can. I really want to go to Garden of the Groves and Lucayan National Park more than anything else.

I hate how you can't pack somethings until the last minute. Like toothbrush, toothpaste and contact solutions. I need to use all those in the morning so I can't really pack them away. Between doing chores and preparing the house I took breaks to work on my art. I finished the drawing of Cope. For a simplistic drawing I think it turned out really nice. Check this out.

Cope - Sad Budgies

I'm definitely happy with it. You can see the full sized one HERE. So I'm right on schedule. If I can make another one this month I'll actually be ahead. That would be nice.

I may not post tomorrow. We'll see. I am taking my computer and hope to make updates if I have a connection at the hotel. So good bye for now everyone. I'll be back in town on Tuesday.

The picture looks awesome! And congrats on getting it done too.
Have a safe journey!

I'm very happy with it.
We're here now. More on that later.

Oh the sky on your drawing is so pretty! The colours are just beautiful and the stars look so nice! Poor Cope though, he looks so sad and the only thing I really notice is that his glasses look like they are filling up with tears and then it's leaking out of the bottom. It's a very awesome drawing.

I hope that Henrietta will be alright. She's a clever girl after all and maybe she'll find somewhere to nest inside your yard - maybe one of the previous nesting sites where you've removed eggs from?

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it so much. I'm glad a simplistic background turned out so nice.

I hope she's being good while I'm gone. I miss her.

That pic worked out great and I'm glad you had time to finish it.

I hate how certain things can't be packed until the last minute, too - unless you have two of everything!

Henrietta will find somewhere else. I have one hen laying in the hosue at the moment, but she will have to find somewhere else the days we are not home, too. The three were laying in the haystack, so she will probably go back there with the others.

Have a great time! I'll be thinking of you!

Thanks. I'm glad it turned out.

Yeah we've had that problem this morning too with the toothbrush and stuff.

I hope so. I do still worry about her.

Thanks. So far it's going well.

That drawing is so sweet. Cute little Dark Eyed Clears. I love the background and the colors.

I have a travel toothbrush now, so I don't have to worry about packing it. My family travels enough that we usually have travel sized duplicates of the important things now.

Poor Henrietta. She isn't going to like being locked out.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it so much. Hee hee, yeah I love dark eyed clears. I wanted a nice night scene for him.

That's a good idea. We still had to use them this morning and repack them from the ship.

I hope nothing will happen or that she won't do anything bad while we're gone.

Have fun on your trip! Hopefully your pets will all do okay while you're gone, and Henrietta will find a new place to lay.

Good job on the Cope picture. I like how you colored his glasses.

Thanks. It's going nicely so far. I'm still worrying while I'm here about the pets.

Thanks. His glasses were very fun to color. I like adding those types of effects last because of that.
