Plants, drawing and stuff
Been looking into ways to cool down the plant chamber before I build it. Looks like I'm going to have to read up on electronics now and learn about that. I'm rather amazed at the science education I have been giving myself lately and expanding on the knowledge I already have. I'm proud of myself. I also find it funny how I feel so lost in this new field. You know you're totally new when you say, "I don't even know what questions to ask." That's how I felt when I started the plant tissue culture stuff. Not that I know it now. Oh do I ever still have tons to learn and I still have many question and much experience to gain. But I don't feel as lost and frustarted as when I first started. It's just funny to have that feeling again so soon for another reason. Speaking of TC, I REALLY need another pressure cooker. I hope I can order one this week. And I finally got my scale in the mail form China. It works, I'm so glad but again can't do anything without the cooker. The magic cauldron hehe. I had one more jar get contaminated. This time it was N. albomarginata grey. Not happy about that one. That's one plant I really like and would love to grow some either normally or through TC.

I've started inking the picture of Looten Plunder and I'm amazed that Illustrator is magically working again. I get a trace line when I trace now. I got about half way through that. So perhaps I can finish the ink work on it and start to color it in photoshop. I went on some jobs with Chris today. In between we stopped at a Michael's in a differnet location and he got me a clear and a red 2 inch diamond. Not really into those colors but it was something I didn't have so I grabbed them. I'll keep checking different ones as I wonder if it's something all the locations have gotten. I've never seen these before.

Chris and I just finished watching Megamind. We were very impressed. It was hillarious. Half way through I got worried that it was going to push the whole "balance. can't have good without bad" crap that's a load of malarky. But it had a very interesting twist or twists. That's all I'll say so I don't spoil it for those of you that haven't seen it. I can't figure out yet if Megamind was INTP or J yet. So I'll say INTx. And his gorilla/fish side kick was very cute. Chris mentioned he's an S type but I haven't thought about any of that for him yet. I may do a review on this movie, but right now my mind is still digesting it and scenes from it are flying through it still.

It was a fun movie to watch! I am glad you picked this one tonight. I liked how it smashed some stereotypes by bashing them. Made it unique.

I like the fridge idea you came up with. I wonder where we could by a used one.

I was surprised by how thin the scale was.

I am glad you came with me on those calls.

I really liked that movie a lot. I definitely want to buy it now. Gave me a lot to think about.

Yeah, I wonder how much they cost. That would be the easiest thing.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how tiny the scale was. I was expecting something bigger. I'm glad it worked. Now if I could get my PH meter this week.

Yeah it was nice to get out.

Good luck with the plant chamber when you build it. Research pays off!
Glad the picture is going well. I've been doing a lot of digital art lately.
I love Megamind. I watched it with Dad since I have it on DVD and he said it was better than he thought it would be. I love the music in it.

Thanks. Right now I really don't know what I'm doing.
It's nice to be working on art again.
It was a great movie. Yes I forgot to mention that. It had a great metal soundtrack. We were impressed by that. That's cool your dad liked it.

Hope you get a really good pressure cooker soon! I'm sad that you lost your N. albomarginata grey :(

That's weird how the trace line in Illustrator sometimes works and sometimes not.

Wow, you have been very busy!

Yeah, if not this week perhaps the next one. Well luckily I have one jar left that isn't contaminated. I just hope they sprout.

It makes no sense why Illustrator decides to work sometimes and not others.

Yeah, I'm glad I have so many projects to work on.

All the locations I've been to do have the two inch diamonds. I've seen red, magenta, pink, clear, cobalt, turquoise, purple, pale lavender, light green, and rainbow. I think I'm going to Michael's tomorrow, and if there is a light green I'll grab it.

Cool. I was by my local one yesterday and I didn't stop in. I should have. I haven't seen purple or lavender yet.

I wasn't at the Michael's that had a bunch of light green ones so I couldn't get one, but I picked a rainbow one up for me. I found out that the two inch diamonds are seasonal so they aren't going to be restocking them once they run out of these.

Seasonal? That's dumb. Well in that case I a better grab what I find.
