Cool stuff
Well I didn't get any art accomplished today. Not happy about that but perhaps tomorrow I can work on the new piece. Not much to tell other than Chris took me to the pond store and we got more free water hyacinths. I put them into the frog tank. I had put my N. northiana, N. bicalcarata orange and N. neoguinensis in there. This morning the frog was sitting on the latter and it was really funny. I took pics and I'll post them soon. Chris also bought me my first Sarracenia. Sarracenias are North American pitcher plants. Mine's a hybrid called Dana's Delight. it's pretty green pink and white. I'll post pics of that too. They are easy to take care of but need to grow in bogs or standing water. So I got it out in a little dish of water outside. They're outdoor plants and grow tall. Also carnivorous and very different from nepenthes. Oh Chris also went out to get some food for the birds and WalMart and picked up a figure of Black Beard from the new Pirates movie for me. He knows I'm a fan of the real black beard. Yes I'll post pics of him too. Looks like I'll have a pic intensive post tomorrow morning. Right now I'm just tired and want to go to bed.

Hey, this "Chris" guy sounds like a real cool dude! ;) Seems like you should do sweet loving things to him because he is so great. hehe

That's cool you've had all these neat carnivorous plants. Yeah Sarracenias are easy to grow I've read. I'll post them soon.

That sounds like a nice day out and Chris is so sweet to buy you that pitcher plant AND Black Beard. I would have loved to see the frog on the Nepenthes :) BTW, when I went back to that nursery they were almost sold out of all the carnivorous plants and only had a few scungy ones left.
