Drew a little
I want to welcome marchskies and vontherocks to my LJ. Thanks for adding me. Be sure to read my profile.

EDIT: I'm annoyed at yahoo. It's been sending my youtube and LJ emails to my spam and I had missed some comments on YT and some PM's here. I had to add them both to my address book so that nonsense would stop. I shouldn't have had to do that.

I finally took a picture of the pretty nail polishes Chris has gotten me. Check these out.

The second, sixth and last are my newest ones. I haven't opened the last one but it looks really cool because it's a mix of blue and purple. It's one of those that it changes with the angle of the light like some of those car paints. Irridecent. They have numbers and I have 1-7 and the last one I skipped to 16 because the other numbers in between are similar to the orginal 7. Of course the third one or the tourquise is my fave. I also like the green and the pink. These look really neat on me when I'm playing my bass.

I edited my Wish List and added a Best Buy Gift Card to the list. Still looking forward to getting that tablet.

And I actually started on a drawing today! It's a pic of Cope at his desk enjoying his computer.

I still have to draw the background which will have shelves with books, a door and I don't know what else. I need to get better at filling the space in my indoor environments. He's in his den and I don't know what he's doing on the computer. He's not typing or using his mouse so he must be reading something or watching something that's really amusing him. Still need to add more details.

I really like the yellow too. They are all metallic so they're a bit glittery. Two coats makes it look very nice. I'll take a pic of my hand for my next post. I got these at Walgreens.

Thanks. That's my professor character Jonathan Cope. I like to talk about my characters a lot. You'll get to know them in time.

Well this is a first. I'm the opposite. Been using Yahoo for years. Tried hotmail when it was new and hated it then. It's just dumb that both youtube and LJ were fine now it thinks it's spam. At least they're going into my inbox again.

That's a cool drawing of Cope.

Nice range of nail polish colours!

You just reminded me, I should check my emails, hee :)

Thanks. Hopefully it will look better once I start drawing in the furniture and stuff in the background.

Yeah, I love the rainbow of colors it makes.

Glad to help out.

Thanks for the welcome! I read your profile carefully before I messaged you, in fact, I could probably take a quiz on it.

Wow, those colors are intense and I especially love that blue (second one in) How do you like the Sally Hansen brand? Does it dry fast and resist chipping?

Cool thanks. I try to remind everyone that's new now because I've had people add me before in the past and they hadn't read it then were surprised when they tried to start arguments with me. Sigh.

Yeah they're really neat and fun. I've been very happy with it so far. Hum, I don't think it dries fast though, but then I'm always very impatient with nails drying. Even the ones that say fast drying aren't fast enough for me. To be safe I always wait about a half hour to an hour before I touch anything and it's so hard to not do so. I'm a nail bitter so chipping is a problem for me, but when they are painted I try to do it less. I think it does hold up fairly well to chipping since I've been playing my bass guitar and it's done very well. It lasts about a week which for me is pretty good. I'm a gardener too so I get down and dirty with my hands and don't have high hopes of any of them lasting more than the day I first put it on.

Those nail polishes are cool. I like pretty nail polishes too, especially sparkly ones or pearlescant ones that shine different colours in the light.
I sent your Christmas gift yesterday!
I like Cope's face there, he really looks happily involved in whatever he's doing.

I'm so glad they make all colors now. I remember back in the 80's it was wrong if you used anything that was not reds or pinks. I never cared for reds so I had to settle for pinks.
Oh cool. I look forward to it.
Yeah, it's rare to see him that way.

Nice work on the Cope drawing so far. He looks like he's enjoying himself.

Thank. Yeah, he likes his computer time.

I like the turquoise, blue, and dark blue the best. There was some iridescent nail polish that was out at Halloween that I wanted but didn't get. It was blue in one light and green in another. There was also a blue/purple one and a gold/pink one. I refuse to wear red or pink polish, but dark reds and burgundy are okay. I also won't wear flat colors. They must be pearlescent or sparkly.

That picture amuses me. That's the way I get on the computer. Totally into it.

Yeah those are pretty neat. I saw some at Walgreens that are supposed to change color in sunlight. So they have an indoor and an outdoor color. Are those the ones you meant? I liked them. Yeah I don't like flats either. They need to have a shine.

Thanks. I'm glad you like it so far and can relate to him.

The ones I meant actually were iridescent. Like for the first one, it was blue if I looked at it straight on, but if I turned the bottle a little and looked at an angle, it would be green.
